White Mulberries

Mulberries, (kuwanomi in Japanese) grow on large trees and look a little like a long blackberry. As with other berries they are high in anthocyanins and vitamin C which can help protect your body against the rigours of aging. They contain significant amounts of iron and also minerals such as potassium and manganesse. You can eat these sweet, chewy berries straight from the bag or use as you would a raisin in cookies and muffins.
