Shortening

Shortening isn't all hydrogenated and trans-fat filled. This is made from organic palm fruit oil, it has zero transfats, is unhydrogenated, non gmo and vegan friendly too. Shortening will make your pie crust flakier, stop excessive spreading on your cookie sheets and sets the standard for making cakes moist. Also good for frying. Use as you would butter, but remember to add a touch more water as this shortening has a lower water content than butter.
