Cacao Nibs

Not quite the chocolate you know but a lot healthier, cacao nibs are the bits of fermented, dried, roasted and crushed cacao bean. It is chocolate that hasn’t been ground and mixed with sugar yet. Intensely chocolatey but not sweet, cacao nibs are delicious crunchy with a complex cocoa flavor. Candy them (coat in caramelized sugar), enrobe them in chocolate, or toss them into brittle instead of nuts for seriously addicting treats. And because the less processed the cocoa is, the higher its antioxidant content and therefore better for you.
