Description
Also known as “the champagne of teas,” Darjeeling tea comes from the Darjeeling district in West Bengal, India. Darjeeling tea is essentially Chinese tea grown in India with the musky-sweet flavor of French grapes and nurtured by Himalayan mountain air. Though classified as a black tea, Darjeeling is lighter, less oxidized and less astringent than most black teas but more layered and complex than most green teas. The tea of choice for connoisseurs.
